Dr. Sean Fitzgibbons

Education:

Dr. Sean Fitzgibbons earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology at the University of Florida in 2009. Following graduation, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a EA-6B “Prowler” pilot for several years before returning to academia to pursue his dental degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He went on to complete his endodontic residency at The Ohio State University before returning to his home state of Virginia to practice.

Experience:

Dr. Fitzgibbons practiced as a general dentist in Las Vegas, Nevada prior to moving to Columbus, Ohio for residency.  During his tenure as a dental student, he was drawn toward the field of Endodontics and received the AAE Student Achievement Award.  He found relieving patient tooth pain to be greatly rewarding and decided to pursue residency to increase his proficiency and knowledge of the field. Dr. Fitzgibbons practiced in Northern Virginia prior to relocating to Richmond to join East Coast Endodontics in 2024.

Philanthropy and Community Involvement:

While he was a dental student at UNLV, Dr. Fitzgibbons was a member and eventually the president of the Sergeant Clint Ferrin Memorial Clinic, a free dental clinic providing services to the local veteran population of Las Vegas.
